I try and talk to him and he talks back but he seems a bit awkward. are these signs he likes me or what?? I also dont know whether i like him, like i am definitely physically attracted to him and he seems like a really nice guy and i think about him a fair bit, but how do i know whether i really like him???

The best way to tell, what most people use, is to look at the number of question marks at the end of a sentence you've written about him. Just 1 means that you might like him. 2 means there's definitely a chance that you like him. 3 or more means you could maybe like him for sure.

Sounds like he likes you but might be a little shy. I'm a shy guy and this is the kind of behavior I would do. It really helps me if the girl shows some interest or even starts talking to me and asks me how I'm doing. Try it and see what happens. It might be a green light to him! I'm often intimidated by beautiful women even though I've been told I'm good looking myself.

MissKnowitall Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Guys like girls for lots of reasons, not because they are popular, cheerleaders, etc etc. When I was in college a guy who was super popular who all the girls chased set his sights on plain jane me and I thought what you did. I ended up sabotaging things and really hurting his feelings. It was about my own self esteem. I couldnt believe someone like *that* liked me? 20 years later I reconnected with him and now were are madly in love and he told me that yeah, he really did like me back then but thought I wasn't interested. HA! Don't pass up a great chance to have a potentially special connection.
Author crazykindalove Posted November 16, 2010 Author Posted November 16, 2010 aww thats really cuteeee hehe im happy for you two and yeah i think he does like me cos he oalways looked at me, but just like held eyecontact but today he gave me the biggest smile i have ever seeen! i just dont know how to talk to him, like i can ask him trivial things like the time or for a pen, but we are in different friendship groups and stuff so it would be wierd for me to go up and just start haveing a full on convo any ideas??
