dixie_flatline Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I talked to a girl that I volunteer with, and we got along pretty well. We seemed to share a lot of things in common... movies, philosophy on life, etc. There was a bit of flirting going on from both sides too. I also noticed she moved closer to me as the conversation went on, but not quite touching. Also, she seemed to laugh at lots of the stuff I said. I never thought I was that funny... anyways I don't know if she's just a really open and flirty person, so I am being a bit wary. But I've definitely got a bit of a crush on her. The thing is, she's only here for a few more months. She will be moving back to her home country to finish her studies, and I'm not sure if she plans on staying there after that. We seemed to really click and I would love to ask her out, but I'm afraid that it will be short-lived and painful in the end since she will move away. Is it futile?
Sonido Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Greetings, I've been in the same boat as you are right now. The best thing for you to do is make sure you find out about her future before making any moves. If she will in fact stay at her home country it is not wise to start something now, as it will only get more & more painful at the end. If she does decide to only stay for a few months, maybe a year, you could try & get yourselfs a long distance relationship.. Many people say it's a bad thing to do, but i've only experienced good things on that part as i've had one with an English girl aswell. Anyway, i wish you good luck & hope for yourself you make the right choice. Do not let your crush blind you.
WTFBBQ Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 One night stand something to remember you bye.
