It's been my experience that about 80% of my ex girlfriends will eventually call me or text me at least once (excluding the one date wonders). Do you guys experience the same thing? How do you handle it? Often times I'm tempted to start something up again. The feelings come back and you contemplate giving it another go around. Has anyone found a wonderful relationship with a second time around?
daphne Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 Nope. It has not ever ended for a bad reason. We weren't compatible, or they were terrible boyfriends. That doesn't stop me from getting a good ego stroke and being delighted that they think of me fondly.

And, what percentage of ex's have to contacted? With or without true intentions?

With or without true intentions? No, they usually contact me and it feels good. I just counted it was 80%. I would say half had good intentions. The others just hated rejection and wanted a chance at getting back at me. Personally, there are only a couple tht I will still talk to to this day. Not that I have hard feelings. It's just over and they did something to make me go away. So I'm not going to chase them knowing it'll be the same all over again. I really, really, really hate being taken for granted.
