He hasn't responded to my message and it's been almost a week, since then I know he has been online and he has chatted with other people. He stopped talking to me all of a sudden for no apparent reason, Should I send him a message and just say Hi, I want to see if he will respond or not, I need some closure in this!

You moved too slow, after one or two datingsite chats it usually moves to msn and then you talk to each other on the phone and if that goes good, set a date to meet up. You'll talk to tons of people on the site but unless there is a mutual "connection" it's not going to go anywhere.

You don't know if you're going to meet, or if you'll even like each other once you do. Next him and move on. There are a lot of other guys. And the right one for you won't be turning his back on you before you even meet. It's all numbers.
