Cee Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 As a single person, I never have enough time for my life. My main activities are: job, interests, exercise, volunteer work, family commitments, and friendships. On top of these activities, I need alone time. It helps me recharge. I try to give myself 2 nights per week to be completely alone. What would I have to give up to be in a relationship? I can't give up my alone time and I'd hate to lose my friends. How do you busy people make it work with someone?
carhill Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 How do you busy people make it work with someone? They prioritize. If that matches up with the other person's priorities, then a relationship can result. Everything in life is a balance. Each of us *choose* what that balance is. Re-read your list of 'stuff' in your life. Every item on it is a *choice*. Many people disagree with that observation; I say examine it closely. How did you get to where you are today? Good luck
