Been awhile since I've posted. Anyways in one of my classes there is this pretty girl who sits behind me. She talks to me and that and chats and seems to be pretty nice, silly. Also when I go to the tutoring room to get help with the class work she happens to also come around the same time I so we sit at the same table. Anyways I'm doing well in the class and well she's not so she probably is dropping the class from the way it sounds the teacher was talking to her and this week was the drop deadline so I might not see her again in class now.

Anyways I searched her on facebook and found her page. If I dont see her in class next week is it ok if I add her to my friends list and message her and telling her I wanna know her better and ask if she wants to go out and do something sometime?

Last week we left the tutor room at the same time and walked out together. I should have asked her out then as it would have been perfect timing but felt I wasn't ready to.

So how should I ask her out if she is not in class anymore?

That girl must've talked to someone else in that class. Do you know her name? Or you only have an email adress? I think you should ask around to see where she goes, which class she has. You should then approach her and ask her out.

Facebook, especially asking someone out on facebook is kinda like eating junk food. There's nothing quite as good as being asked out in person. With the appearance of cell phones, emails and facebooks, the dating world is too artificial. Nothing is natural any more, guys and gals don't find each other anymore.

Instead they find each other's facebook pages.

Yea I know her name lol. Like I said I looked her up on facebook.

I agree. Thats why I'm hoping she didn't drop. I mean Facebook would be last resort.

Go for it. Next class, you ask about her. Colleges have a lot of people, everyone meets everyone in one way or another. Use the facebook as the last resort but if I was you I'd hurry up. Cute girls get snatched up quite fast ;).

She goes to other classes, I assume. Doesn't she have a girlfriend you know of? You could ask her "hey, I was wondering if x could borrow me her papers. Do you know when she's going to show up(wherever the place might be)?"

Well I don't want to go all Katharine McPhee on her.

If she thinks you're cute, the Facebook message will be romantic.

If she doesn't think you're cute, the Facebook message will be creepy.

Wait until after your next class. If she's not there, do the Facebook thing. Feel it out. If you think you can plan it over fb message then do so, but if she's not giving you help and it feels like you'll be "asking her out twice," then end the conversation by saying "alright, give me your # and i'll hit you up" or whatever.

However, don't friend her. Just send her a message. I believe in not friending people you date at all, but in this case you won't want to anyway. One step at a time. Getting a date is more important than being her FB friend.

Well I didn't see her in class today so I figured she dropped the class. I sent her a friend request and she approved it. She also replied to my message saying she did indeed drop the class and that she has a heavy workload and is going down to TWO classes next semester. She only works part time at McDonalds. She also said shes not doing well in PRE Algebra. She ignored the part of my message about going out though.
