It's kind of funny:

when I decided not to accept the date, there were number of posts that advised me otherwise.

now that I have decided to accept the date, there are again number of posts that advise me otherwise.

It's just a second date, not a marriage proposal...

haha sooo uhhh bring a ring or don't?

Man it's so weird to me. It's like everyone just blames other people for their problems. I wish I was any different, but I'm really not. I blame other people, other things, etc. for what I did wrong. If I get a low mark on an assignment it isn't because I'm a freaking goof and terrible writer, it's becuase the teacher is a complete ******* (unlikely!). etc. etc. I could go on for days.

People spend so much time blaming other people that they hardly ever take advice. I'm veryyyyy guilty of this. People have told me to do things for MONTHS and I didn't listen. I'm smarter than them right? Lol besides everything is never my fault anyways! :)

People are so busy blaming other people, that a lot of the time if you give good advice they will turn around and blame you for their problems. Your pompous, acting like an ass, above this conversation, so on and so on. Someone told me on friday that engineer's aren't liked because they think they are really intelligent, always inform you immediately they are engineers, talk down to people, etc. etc. I'm not going to wear my ring anymore.

UNDER ONE PERCENT of people actually do what they say they are going to do. (there was a study of over 40,000 people, it was way under 1%) Why is that? I really think the blame thing is part of it. I've noticed that people who are the least successful blame everyone else but themselves for what they do wrong. If they actually did the things that would help them they would have no more drama to play out, no more games to play, no more woe is me, noone to blame anymore.

Transcend the ego bitches ;-)

Well, I used to blame myself for everything but blaming other people makes me feel so much better. So why not?? ;)
