So, after a couple of days of walking around like a zombie, rolling around in my cosy ball of misery and imagining apocalypse-like scenarios, I'm fed up of myself. I feel like a little insect, a creepy-crawlie that needs to tear apart its own neon green skin and inhabit something with more backbone.

I KNOW for a fact that after I'm over this guy, I'm going to kick myself in the bum for wasting all of this precious time. But I know that processing this time in a healthy, perspective-inducing way is important, hence -- instead of getting laid and downing ten thousand beers, I want to take the tough road --

So, since we're miserable and are actively trying to get better, along with sharing our troubles let's get together and share some laughs as well.

I invoke all ye self-pitying to come here and mercilessly make fun of yourself. No trolls, please. We're already beating ourselves up enough and we don't need you to tell us we're pathetic.

More than anything, I'm starting this thread because these kinds of threads REALLY cheer me up and give me perspective.

Bring it on, peeps! :bunny:

A man and a friend are playing golf one day at their local golf course.

One of the guys is about to chip onto the green when he sees a long funeral procession on the road next to the course.

He stops in mid-swing, takes off his golf cap, closes his eyes, and bows down in prayer.

His friend says: “Wow, that is the most thoughtful and touching thing I have ever seen. You truly are a kind man.

The man then replies: “Yeah, well we were married 35 years.”

I thought a joke may help set the mood x
