I just want to point out what a BIG LET DOWN this thread has been. I mean with a title like "Men, would you ever do this? Girls, would you let him do it?" I wasn't sure what I was in for, but I was excited... then it turns out to be a thread about "would you hold a purse if for your woman, and women would you ask such a thing of a man"

 

I thought this might be a thread about some risque sexual activity was really what I was hoping for. At a minimum something else exciting

I guess it wasn't a big deal after all. Thanks to those that shared their perspectives... I guess when this was brought up by my friend, I should have known better than to listen to it. He's the one that came up with those rules "you should be friends with a girl before asking her out", etc.

 

The most risque thing I have heard recently was a girl getting one of her friends to spice up her sex life with her boyfriend...

I'll hold a lady's pocketbook for a moment, but only while she needs her hands free and I'll hold it away from my body with 2 fingers like it has something disgusting in it.

Thank God there is someone for everybody, because most people i have dated have been confident men, and would have had no problem holding onto a purse for a few minutes.

 

Funny..the most stubborn, control freakish, over macho, self centered..its all about him..hes always gotta be right... man that i have EVER dated, is probably the one i am dating now. (unknown for how long THAT will last). And I bet HE would be the one who would refuse to hold the purse. Tells ya something, eh?

Well it's just when CE changed avatar pics... I got this memory flash of someone I knew from LS back in the day. Like 06' or 07'... Darlin Coco... who was very nice, and rarely as bitterly sarcastic.

 

I remember spending 3 hours one afternoon giving advice on how to handle a situation with her father and step-mom.

Well, I am slightly over six feet tall and 180-190 so I'm a pretty big handful; I have no idea if my husband could carry me 1/4 of a mile, though, I've never needed him to so it's never come up. Maybe I'll jump on him today when he gets home from work and demand a pony ride around the neighborhood :lmao:.

 

I can't--exactly--tell what is happening in your avatar, but it looks very athletic.

 

And who were you before you were UF? :confused:

 

I didn't get a bitter vibe from CE's post, btw. She seemed to be making the funny.
