eminembnja Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I apologize if this is easily answered, but I used all my google-foo and found nothing: How do you do therapy when you have a job? I assume most people in therapy have jobs, but therapists usually work 9-5. So do you literally take off an hour or two x times a week? How do you broach this with your employer? What if you want to keep it confidential (there will probably always be some stigma attached)? I heard of after-hours therapists but assume they charge more. I also assume lunch break times would be unavailable or highly contested. What's your plan?
dreamingoftigers Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 Kind of a mix: let my employer know, try to score once a week, try for a lunch hour, try for after hours.
