SnowLover Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 I met this guy and we immediately liked each other a lot. Things started moving faster than I have ever gone with anyone else. Everything just seemed to fit with him. He's an amazing person. He told me loved me, talked about a future together, talked about wanting a family, etc....We were getting really close. He told me he trusts me and he knows I will always be there for him, which I will. Then all the sudden he says he can't be a relationship right now. He does have a ton of stuff going on in his life and I only want to help, not hinder him. I just feel like I was misled and it hurts. He didn't say whether he would want to get back into a relationship with him after he gets some things taken care of, and I haven't asked, but secretly I'm hoping he does. He did say he still wants to be friends. I drove him around to couple places and he tried to help me with my car since than. I've been trying to move on. I have a date soon and I've been talking to other guys, but all these other guys don't make up for him. I just feel like my heart is not in it. At the same time, I don't want to be waiting around the house hoping for something that may never happen. I want a serious relationship.

I had a similar situation recently that I thought was going great and then all the sudden he is distant and says he is scared. I say you have to right to ask him questions and tell him how you feel just so you can get some closure to the situation even if you do remain friends. But go out and have fun with your friends, meet other people and if it's meant to be it will all work out when it's supposed to! Good luck!
