When I grew up, there was this period where toilet seat covers made of fluffy fabric were really popular (as protection against the cold porcelain). I wonder what lived in those after a few days... a bit like wall to wall carpets in UK bathrooms

The bf even gets uneasy due to the fact that my toilet floor is carpeted. It would be freezing if it wasn't though. Wouldn't an easier alternative be to use wood/plastic for the toilet seat, though? :/
