He is the financial ****e. So I find out tonight that he is applying for credit cards at my address. They have cancelled the applications. Am I entitled to send him a message to say do not that anymore because you no longer live here and I have taken him off the electoral roll?

Hi

Are you in the UK?

I would advise you to speak to a solicitor, you can get a free half hour appointment at most firms. They will tell you if you have any legal rights and also if he has committed any criminal offences by doing this.

Personally, from what I have read of your husband, he is being very conbative with you and for that reason I would not approach him about this yourself, but try to go NC or LC if you have children.

I agree. I think I read in a previous thread that you have a child?

It is VERY IMPORTANT to seek legal advice as you will need professional support a.s.a.p..

If you are in the UK get your freebie half hour and go with a friend and some prepared questions re child support, marital support and finances eg shared bank loans etc.

If you have a shared account, then withdraw what's yours and put it into a different solo account AT A DIFFERENT BANK ALTOGETHER.

IF you have a personal account close it ,withdraw all monies and open a fresh account again ,with a different bank entirely.

You need to protect your finances ,especially if he is trying to open up credit card deals with your address.

Been there, done that, still wearing the t shirt.

Keep posting and we will help all we can.
