zig Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 So I've met up with this girl a couple of times and we were chatting online the other day talking about our best friends and all. I said to her how much I miss my best friend because he moved away. Then I told her that when he moved away we both 'cried' making my point of how close we were. Now I'm thinking I made myself look like a sissy and gave her a little too much information. So girls, was that a turnoff?
Seamless74 Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Im no girl but ID definately say you probably just did the thing that every girl complains about when it comes to the wussified males walking around today.. you seriously told her you cried??? man imma just stop there...
Carm Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I disagree with Seamless and I am a girl. I don't think you made yourself look bad, you were just expressing yourself honestly. Every girl wants a guy who is emotionally available.
TheMENemy Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Well you were talking to her as a friend, not as a "girlfriend." You know, about your non sexual emotional feelings for someone else, not about your sexual feelings for her. So the real danger is not that you're perceived as a sissy, simply that you friend zoned yourself.
