Is it hard to get a girlfriend if you have a silly sense of humor?

I mostly have a dry sense of humor and some of the things I like to joke around about aren't things that women generally joke around about. To be more successful with women, do I have to adopt a more female oriented sense of humor? Do I have to stop joking around my way even if that's what I enjoy? What do women like to joke around about?

I think humor is an individual thing and if you can get someone laughing, then whatever works, works.

 

My ex had a wicked sense of humor and got me laughing a lot. I think it's more delivery than anything else. One time he had me losing it over bathroom type humor. That's not normally something I go for, but he could make anything hilarious. I remember on our first date he got me laughing about his job. He watered plants for a living and told me that he liked going out drinking with the plants. He then told stories about what it was like drinking with bonsai trees and the ferns. It was zany stuff, but so intelligently delivered, I was immediately smitten.

 

I'm a sucker for a good laugh so any man who got me laughing almost always got my heart.

Don't change a thing about your humour- it's a part of being who you are.

 

I LOVE a man that has a good sense of humour. I couldn't date a guy that didn't have a silly side to him. I know there are many guys out there that wouldn't find my style of humour attractive.

 

I don't like trying to date someone when I feel like I have to reign myself in all the time to appease them.
