Insanitylater Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 I wanted to post this earlier, but I just remembered now. When I still had my profile on the dating site, and if I stayed up late fri or sat, I would log on around 1am. It was very funny, to see all the profiles change from offline to online, from 1am on It was like clockwork, all the people coming home from the bars, signing in, checking up on the site. Ironically most of these same people had in their profiles how they don't do the bar scene, and they rarely go out to drink Funny what you can find out when you pay attention to the details.
hadess07 Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 now that is 1 interesting fact that i didn't know
LittleTiger Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 Depends on the site you're on but most dating sites are worldwide so the time that people log on can't be related to the time wherever you are - unless you check the country and the time difference you can't know if they're logging on when they wake or if they're just home from work. So these non-bar going people could very well be telling the truth.
D-Jam Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 I think a lot of people do much online dating searching in the middle of the night. Last time I was on a site, I remember getting more responses and even into IM chats late in the evening and into the night. Probably when people have free time and/or feel the most lonely...facing that empty bed.
Banker Chick Posted November 7, 2010 Posted November 7, 2010 I log on and answer emails either really late at night or fairly early in the morning. This prevents me from getting bombarded with new messages or people wanting to IM. Although it's starting to work against me as more and more people seem to be on those times
