Stories of bad dates that were totally our fault...Something *you* did that someone else is probably saying "You wouldnt believe the bad date I had!" Cause you know, we can step back and laugh at ourselves too right?!

The first date I went on after my breakup, my heart was still on my ex and the whole time I was with this guy, I was mentally comparing him to my ex. My ex would have opened the car door for me, my ex would have neatly folded up our napkin wrappers instead of leaving them strewn on the table (hes got OCD lol), you have no sense of humour, my ex is way funnier than that...blah blah blah. And yeah, I did do the dreaded talk about the ex thing too...seemed like no topic was immune from something that reminded me of the guy. So yeah, this poor guy was trying to be a good date, and I really was sitting there the whole time, for sure likely looking at him and reacting to everything he did as if he wasnt up to par. Baaaad RTS! But I definitely was in no mindset to try and go out there and date yet..it was waaay too soon. Never did hear back from that guy, wonder why! lol

Your poor date though! lol

I may go months and months without a date, but thats because I make sure the person I go on a date with is the kind of person I mesh with. I think way too many people jump hip deep into dates and relationships way to quickly, thus the existence of sites like this.
