Hey guys, so I am 17 years old and the guy I like turned 20 a couple of days ago. We have been talking for about 3 and a half weeks and are taking things slowly which I am enjoying- I'm used to going fast; a guy would have been and gone by now!

He instigated the 'relationship' between us via Skype, I am friends with his brother and he began writing his number in the conversation and telling me to call him. He is VERY cheeky- much like myself, and I actually texted him the next day. I know he got very hurt in a past relationship of about 2 years, and says he has very bad luck in love.

I am very particular with the men I choose to date, and I hate to say that I reject a lot of people for the wrong reasons- and I also chase a lot of men for the wrong reasons. (NOT sex, ever. Proud V!) And it always seems to be me contacting him and arranging things, not that I mind- but we have switched roles, I am chasing him and he seems to love it.

When I met up with him he was constantly smiling and really looking into my eyes. I think we have great chemistry and we were constantly flirting, when I brought this subject up I said "I get what I want" and winked. He then smiled and replied "Well, I am a hard one to get.. you need to try harder" And continued to smile. It's all fun and games, but he is driving me crazy (In a good way!) So, do all men like to be chased? Or do they like it if the woman takes control.. as I seem to be doing! Haha :)

Also quick question- at the end of our date (I say date, I was on my lunch break from work and so was he!) he lingered around for a bit and asked for a hug. Is this a good end?!

Thank you everyone

Never happened to me. Mostly it is the reverse, we have to chase you. Which, contrary to popular opinion in Red Book and Vanity Fair, we do not like to do. Chasing is for high school, not adults. However, it seems, this generation is full of happy go lucky adult high schoolers masking themselves as young adults.
