Scarlett513 Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 I know this is dumb and that this guy isn't my ex so it's not fair to compare, but this is just too weird and it's starting to creep me out a little. I have a first date this weekend with a guy who shares my ex's first name. Not only that but he also has the same middle and last initial. He grew up in the same area as my ex and has the same area code (uncommon bc it's not nearby). He asked me for a first date on a Sunday night at the same place where my ex and I had our first date, also on a Sunday night, almost a year ago to the day. I'm over my ex, and I don't want him back. I know rationally that o barely even know this guy and it's stupid to get weirded out over some random similarities but I'm feeling almost superstitious....
shelly76 Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Don't let your superstition stop you. I think its just a few random coincidences. I know how you feel though, I am superstitious myself. Dated a horrible guy a while back and assigned him my fav ringtone on my phone. Now I'm afraid to use that ringtone for anyone new as they might turn out horrible as well. Good luck to you!
