alwaysoverthinking Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I immediately went into NC after our break. To be honest, the way she did it left me really no choice. I'm proud of myself, but I won't lie, it's hard, because there's mistakes I think I made that I could talk to her about. I know it's pointless, and really, the person I want to talk to about those mistakes is me, about 2 months ago. That guy would have really benefited. But after reading these boards, I've learned that no contact really is the only way to go. This place has been a good resource, and I'm glad it's around. I only wish I known about it before this relationship, and during the aftermath of my previous one. Anyway, soldiering on...
NickJH1 Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Like me there are many lessons you have learned about yourself. The fact that you have said the knowledge I have now I wish I could of passed on to myself 2 months ago proves you have personally progressed. OK your relationship has ended, but it has ended for a reason. It is now time to work on yourself not Soldier on. Get yourself in that zone you want to be in and everything will unfold as it should from there. Allways look at the bigger picture, keep focused, stay motivated, stay rational and you will go far in this world. Nick.
