If you open the door even a little crack, the traveling salesman will try to jam his foot into it. I agree with what you're saying - but I'm tired of it! I don't want to have to act cold to anyone that might possibly be attracted to me because then I'M the one that feels isolated. I'm a shy person with outgoing tendencies - often I'll find myself bursting out of my shell and then have no idea how to deal with the consequences. Thus the post!
