When you wear various types of footwear what image are you trying to project? I can guess at a few, Sleek boots = sexy, loud heels= power trip, open toe= feminine pretty. Sneakers? etc ?

While were at it, what do you think of men in their various footwear?

Her/his shoes have deep meaning to her. It's a complicated code that won't get revealed here.

Right now I have 3 pairs of over the knee boots in tan, black, and brown. I love the look and just keep changing it up.

What does it say about me? I walk a lot, and I like being comfortable as well as fashionable- end of story.

My current footwear are Avis sneakers. It says overworked medical worker/student that has no time for a social life.

Ditto, minus the medical. I also live in a place with a hard climate, so comfort (staying warm and dry) takes precedence over trying to look smart and feminine.

My boots and heels I've been wearing lately indicate one thing: I wish I was taller.

My favorite shoes I own are a pair of very sexy black lace up three inch heels. They say 'I love these shoes' and 'I look nearly six feet tall'.

Right now, I am wearing comfy shoes, no heels. They say 'I am pregnant, clumsy and don't want to break my neck falling in heels.'

The shoes I wear most often are a pair of Birkenstock sandals.

They say "I don't like sore feet."

I love this! :lmao:

Btw, I'm curious how this thread managed to attract more trolls and spambots than most other longer threads. Was it the word 'footwear'?

My footwear is selected to suit my outfit. Sometimes my outfit is selected to suit my footwear!

Pointy-toed ballet flats with buckle detail = I desperately want to be fun and trendy, but I chase infants and toddlers all day long and I need to be comfortable. Ha. It is what it is, right? When I worked full time I used to love wearing nice shoes or fun boots, etc. But now, it's mostly about practicality!

Not sure about that Sam Launch screen name. A copy cat.

I like open toe shoes on women if they have well cared for little feet.

I think they are teasing foot lovers with them.

Boots are sexy and I think they feel powerful in them.

Thundering around in high heels, the sound attracts me. She has to know she is attracting men with that sound.

In other words I don't have a clue what the wearer thinks. ;)

All my beautiful open-toed high heels in the back of my closet mean I just moved from California to New York and no longer own a car.

Men's shoes mean everything to me. I can't even talk to a man wearing anything showing his feet (with some cultural exceptions). A certain type of sneakers will make me swoon.
