Ariadne Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 I think you look really beautiful, and you have that Christina Ricci thing going. You also look scared in those pictures.
musemaj11 Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Lol, whats up with those who pick on her nose? It looks perfectly fine to me. I think red heads tend to look better without much or any make up at all. Personally based on the picture I would rate the OP 7.5. But then its based on the face alone. Maybe if I see her in person in nice clothes with her hair done and a pair of earrings I think she could turn into an 8.5.
D-Lish Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Honestly S, I think you are super pretty- you have such an interesting and attractive face. As others have pointed out, it's not what you look like that's the problem, it's all the chaos that is present behind it.
OceanGirl Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I am glad to see that this thread has taken a turn for the better. S, I am sorry I took a while to respond when you sent me your pics through e-mail. I was busy and I was self-aborbed but it really had nothing to do with me finding your pics unattractive. I just thought that I will write you an e-mail when I have a bit more time to go in more detail. I hope it didn't have much to do with you posting this thread On a lighter note, I am now trying out "guess my age" site :S
tincanman99 Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Did you ever meet someone who was full of life. You know what I am talking about - they are excited and happy about being alive. Relishing every moment of being there? Well you need to let that energy come through your face. Relax and be yourself and it will show. People will love you and men will be beating a path to your door. I used to be very serious and somber looking. Women would regularly ask me - are you sad or mad? I was like um, no and they would say how come you arent smiling. Than it kind of dawned on me that I was being much too stoic and emotionless. This is what I see when I look at your pictures. You are a beautiful young woman and got the world in the palm of your hand. Take it and do what you want with it, but remember you only go around the planet once. BTW, my trainer is a real redhead with big green eye - kind of like you. She is stunning. Get a little bit of a tan, just a tiny bit of makeup and you will be rocking. You wont be able to beat the men off with a stick. I see it all the time with her.

I was just being stupid. Nah, it didn't. It was related to something fairly minor that happened in my real life that I didn't post about on LS. Also why I sent you the pics.
OceanGirl Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I have some questions: What color is your hair? I can't exactly tell in the pics.. What color are your eyes?
Author northern_sky Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 I apologize for not responding to every individual comment, but I just wanted to thank everyone for responding to my thread whether their response was positive or negative. I didn't ask for compliments, but of course I was happy to receive them. There were one or two comments that made me , but for the most part I felt like people were very honest in their feedback (whether they had bad or good things to say), and that was much appreciated.

johan Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I didn't see a picture, because you must have taken them down before I got home from work. But the pics I've seen in the past were very nice to say the least.
counterman Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Just remember, even the positive comments (i.e. compliments) were honest. I use to shun them away and get a bit iffy when people complimented me because I thought they were just being nice. Learnt to take them as they come because they're true
Author northern_sky Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 I have some questions: What color is your hair? I can't exactly tell in the pics.. What color are your eyes? My hair right now is strawberry blonde. I think it definitely looks redder in the photos, but it does have a slight reddish cast in real life. Naturally my hair is shade darker with the same reddish undertones. I'd actually like advice from people on a good color for my complexion. Because I'm so pale everything seems to wash me out. Brown is far worse. My eyes are blue-green.

You're eloquent, seemingly intelligent (to my knowledge), fit, physically attractive, attractive face... ...you'll fight through this baggage you're carrying emotionally... and when you do, in all honesty, you'll be an amazing catch. Hell, if you were Jewish, I'd want to catch you. I'm getting irritated with pathetic, immature, insecure women aged 21-25.

Author northern_sky Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 I am really glad to have you as a friend too Awww. You're a great friend, my dear.
Dante311 Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Thank you. These words made my night. Remember the truth behind them when you're out in the real world... whatever your ex was to you... he is no more. He may miss you already, but is either too brash or too pathetic to openly admit it now. You have so much better going for you. Be confident and stand tall with a smile on your face. ...I should take my advice sometimes.
Star Gazer Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I'd actually like advice from people on a good color for my complexion. Because I'm so pale everything seems to wash me out. Brown is far worse. You're probably using the wrong brown. A caramel brown (she's tan here, but still... http://www.marieclaire.com/media/cm/marieclaire/images/celebrity-hairstyles-color-7-med.jpg), an orange-ish red (http://www.imagenysonido.com/musica/28/ojazos.jpg), or darrrrrrrrrk brown (http://www.wallpaperez.net/wallpaper/celebrities/m/Megan-Fox-theme-765.jpg) would make your eyes pop and would actually complement your pale skin.
LisaLee Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I would go for the dark brown... dark brown on blue green eyes and pale skin can be very attractive... but her eyebrows would have to match. That is a serious pet peeve of mine. obviously dyed dark hair + light eyebrows = trashy.

Author northern_sky Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 I think that caramel color would probably be the least likely to wash me out (based on trying on wigs in the past), but I might consider a darker shade.
welikeincrowds Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I'm going to print this thread out and bring it to my therapist in two weeks. Mr. or Ms. Therapist, hello Please advise shadowplay to stop her anxiety at once :bunny::bunny: I think it is making her life unnecessarily difficult :bunny: She just needs a different blouse :bunny::bunny:
dispatch3d Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I was looking for opinions on the purely physical. I wanted the opinions of strangers because I figure they'll be more objective, and I'm trying to understand why I have trouble getting male interest. Where do you fit in your group of friends lookswise? Could be your problem very very easily, and much more likely to be than straight up looks. People on the internet can be a little tooooo honest and not realize it so keep that in mind.

Awww. You're a great friend, my dear. Thank you. These words made my night. It's great to see you perking up, but your new found happiness over these compliments is concerning. It's like all you needed to hear was that you're pretty, and you think your job here is done. Please don't think it is. You have a LOT of work to do on the inside.
