strength-abounds Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Good Morning LS Members. I pulled an all nighter today for homework and proud of myself for getting it done. In doing so, I thought it would be self appreciating for people to shout out about 1 positive thing they did whiling moving forward after a break up. Let's here it people. 1 positive thing today, don't care how small.
Leandro Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Today? Hmmmm, well it's 6 in the morning. I gave some advice on here.
Author strength-abounds Posted November 2, 2010 Author Posted November 2, 2010 That's a good step. Helping somebody cope with a few words of advice does good for the soul.
leftfield Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 I'm the same as Leandro, I stopped feeding my own insecurities and recycling my problems and tried to give something back here on LS. I also complimented a girl (at least I think it was a compliment )
Wilie Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Decided to go NC and file for my divorce from my cheating wife. Am not going to chase or try to make things work anymore.

Art_Critic Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 I also complimented a girl (at least I think it was a compliment ) "Nice Tits" isn't really a compliment It's only 9 am here.. I've been at work for about 1.5 hrs but by myself.. I did get tons accomplished this morning though.
jerbear Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 I'm Jerbear(JB) and I approved this message. aka. I will vote today.
2sure Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 I voted and then did not vomit. I am going to try to get a massage today. I'm completely stressed out and doing something good would be ...good.
Fluffsticle Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 I sent this note to all my friends via email first thing this morning, Irish time. Now you can feel it's positivivity too ... :-) Today's thought: The best things in life aren't things. - how often we strive to achieve material that we think will make us happy, but in the end it is not material things that make us the happiest. It is those moments, memories, the love of our family and friends - no material thing could ever replace these.
leftfield Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 "Nice Tits" isn't really a compliment Isn't it? Right. Well I still contributed to Loveshack!
collegeguy_24 Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 My one positive thing? I bought my brother his favorite soda.
wuggle Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 (edited) I let my bully of a boss (temp) off with a stupid decision for the good of the company (which I firmly believe in) on the basis that to call her out on her incompetance would engage me in a complaint case which would also call into question the competance of the CEO of the company by having to go above their heads and discuss with the board. Go figure Edited November 2, 2010 by wuggle
drewsmom Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 My son had today off from school so we decorated for christmas!! It was kinda sad hanging the stockings and having to put stbxh in a bag to give to him. but we had a blast. listening to christmas music. I know its early, It is actually late for us, I love to decorate and usually have it all up before halloween. infact all my friends said your late this yr are you ok. lol. I think stbx was sad when I handed him the bag and he said whats this and I said its your stocking, He looked at the fireplace, mumbled something and left. Guess he didnt expect me to decorate like I always do, Hey life goes on, with or without you.

Tractor Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 The old woman, in her 80s I think, who lives down the road from me, her fence was damageg by cows and her dogs could get out. She was having to keep them in house or on a chain. I went and spent a couple of hours fixing her fence. I also voted.
LovelyDaze Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Same as the other great LS members, got on here to help others. So MANY LS members helped me when I was in horrible pain that I want to always help a hurting heart get through their breakup too! Heck, I may get into another train wreck and need the good karma of help again!
9Lives Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I cooked today and found out I had more money in my account than I thought! Yeah!! Talked to my daughter

havehope Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I needed this post today! My younger sibling got accepted to their dream college, so I went and bought a congratulations card for them.
Author strength-abounds Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 Hi strenght-abounds.. one positive thing i did 2day was vote (smile) Have a good day. Am feeling better...Thanks Thanks for contributing. It's good to see that even when in a negative sandstorm like a breakup, positive things do happen. Keep it up. Finish the week with another positive. Next week, add one more than this week. Keep adding until your life is filled with positives and not negatives. Good luck and God Bless.
Author strength-abounds Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 The positive thing I get to do today is go car shopping. There is a blazing red 2 seater at my local car dealer I have been eying for a while now. Hmmmmm. I wonder.............................?
LisaLee Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I got out of bed. I was tempted to skip class and sleep in.
lisakoen Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 decided to look myself in the mirror and told myself that I'm worth every tear that i cry, worth everything that my husband ever degraded me on or said negatively to me. I stood up this morning and told myself I need to take a stand and get back on my feet. I'm me, I'm strong, I'm brave, he is nothing I can't handle.....
