spiegel27 Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Hey everyone I recently moved to a new state across the country and have been meeting so many new people. Including being introduced to a ton of new and interesting woman. The first girl I met out here I jumped the gun just a little and came off a bit too needy and anxious to get together with her and I really don't want to make that mistake again! I want to play it smooth, have her want to text me or call me, be thinking about me during the day etc. So I met a new girl through a friend out here. Her name is Katie and she is beautiful. She lives a few hours away but is planning on moving here very soon (its something she has been planning for a while) basically over the big Halloween weekend I went to a party and was introduced to her through the owner of the house that the party was at. Apparently she heard a lot of good things about me as I heard about her but I now finally got to meet her in person. We spent a good portion of the night talking during the party and then the next night she asked if she could come out with me and my friends to a bar. So we went out and had a great night, a lot of laughs, she asked me a ton of questions about my family and generally just seemed really interested in getting to know me better. One thing is I asked if she was single and she said she is but she has been seeing this guy on and off but he treats her like crap and cheats on her all the time...lol...(this is where I want to come in so she can get rid of the loser guy) Today she went home and I couldn't say goodbye in person because I had work this morning and I was trying to figure out a way to contact her probably facebook or something. Sure enough she randomly sent me a friend request this afternoon so i was thinking hmm okay took the time to look me up and friend request me not bad. I sent her this little message that said.... "Hey it was nice getting to know you yesterday, even though you say the word water funny lol you seem like a great girl. You should give me ya number so we can keep in touch, next time you come back or even move here ill have to take you out. 123-123-1234 is my cell, have a safe flight home Katie, ttys" Bottom line here. I have a good general feeling that I can eventually go on several dates with this girl and be with her but I am asking how should I play it? If she responds back and gives me her number being that she is a few hours away for now I want to have her start to build an interest toward me, start to text me, and start conversations with me etc. Would I text her once a week? Maybe shoot her a call on a random weekend? I DO NOT want to come off as needy but what I am shooting for is when she finally comes back to visit or moves here, I want her to be really into me and looking forward to going out with me on a date. How should I play it? tips, advice, anything at all would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!
