Confused100 Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 On the surface, we appear to be complete opposites; just to name the first two things that popped into my mind: we reside on opposite sides of the political spectrum and the sports teams for which we root are completely contrary. It seems, however, that there's been a sort of lighthearted tension surrounding these dichotomies. Despite these dissimilarities, I find myself attracted to her. She's cute, certainly, but it feels like it could be more than pure physical attraction. We were at a party a few days ago, I got perhaps too inebriated, and she made sure that I was all right (e.g. helping out when I was vomiting). I don't think there's anything here. It was from my impression, merely a friend helping another friend. But perhaps these circumstances have contributed to the attraction? I normally wouldn't find myself attracted to someone so different, so this is weird territory for me. Anyway, just looking to decipher what's going on here.
Star Gazer Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 A woman helped you out while you were drunk puking? Probably not something that will help kindle attraction, sorry to say.
JohnnyBlaze Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Well, I can't say what her interest level is like, but as to your reasons for being attracted to her, the answer is "just because." Attraction and logic have very little in common. I could tell you almost everything about what I'd consider my "ideal woman." I could also tell you that every woman that I've had a meaningful relation with has matched my "ideal" list on almost no points. There is a woman now that I love more than life itself, but not only does she not match most of my list, but she is actually the antithesis of many of the points. Despite that, she still rules my heart. Point is, who you think you're gonna fall for and who you really do fall for don't have to be the same. Love ain't logical, so don't bother questioning it; just go with it!
