Feel like I was being jerked around by this girl?

So I accompanied this girl to a bar. She picked the location so that she could listen to a friend's local (crappy) alternative band. I complimented her on how she looked. I drank with her. I danced with her (not quite hip hop but still dancing). We sat down for dinner and good conversation. I ended up paying for nearly everything (she gave me $ back the next day but I never asked for it back).

 

She ends up sleeping with the dude in the crappy band soon after that night instead of me, then later reports that she dropped him later because he was only about sex. When I wanted to sleep with her a month later, she accuses me of only being about sex, and having never "dated" her. I feel that one of the best examples of a "date" between us (even though there are others) was where she actually ended up sleeping with another dude instead! Would that activity I described above categorize a "date"?

It could have been a date if the girl had seen it that way. A date must be a mutual agreement. If you think you are going out on a date but the girl look at it as a friendly outting then it is not a date. It is only a date in your head.

 

 

There was nothing wrong with you wanting to sleep with her and coming on to her but she obviously wanted something more. You can't blame her for that. You were thrown off by the fact that she slept with the other guy in the crappy band.

She knew what she was doing the entire time. She was never attracted to you. She complained that you never tried to date her and only wanted sex, yet had no problem giving it up to a guy she probably barely knows. You dodged a bullet.
