so the long and the short of it is that i like this girl and i think its recipricated but im not very confident in asking her out.. I know ive just gotta go for it but the thing is ive actually already tried but i dont think she understood..

I asked her when the last time she went to the cinema was and was trying to manuevure it around to ask her to go with me and said "if theres something on do you wanna go see it"

her "nah i dont think theres really anything i want to see atm"

wtf did she seriously not see what i was trying to do there!

What should i say to her?

Just be blunt, and you'll get the clear answer you want.

Try something more assertive like, "Hey, there's XYZ movie I want to see. Will you come see it with me?" Also try to mention a movie that she is somewhat likely to want to see... romantic comedies are always safe bets.

Or you can also tell her you've found a restaurant you're dying to try out and would like her to join you.

Personally, I like it when a guy has a specific thing in mind that he'd like to do to and suggests it right off the bat. It shows initiative and interest. Granted, I may not be interested in doing what he suggested, but if I am interested in the guy, I will suggest something else.

Good luck,

Agreed. Have concrete plans when you ask her out. Women dig confident men. Confident men have plans already made and know how the evening will go.

Square your shoulder's, keep your head high, and walk up to her like you're the man and ask her.

Good luck.
