restart Posted December 11, 2010 Posted December 11, 2010 Agree, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying MC is a new button, and yes it needs both to participate. But you know, its not like a big active participation, obviously beyond if the relationship is at this stage, just stop playing games at your end and try to maintain. That sense of maintaining instead of running, thats a better builder no matter what anyone says. I guess what I'm saying with it though, is IF BOTH PARTIES make continued contact of sorts, then stick with it, until whenever, maybe until both of you realize the real differences or (hopefully) real commonality. It'll grow you better, in ways you can't imagine yet because you're too close right now. How many thoughts or questions has one had, that they perhaps thought of asking a partner from many many years ago perhaps, and it was all squashed because of NC? Hey I did it myself to others, and others to me, and I regret to this day that I didnt even try. Again, each situation is unique, I'm not saying this is a blanket at all, just an attempt to discipline what you're feeling, in order to not lose the love.
