Marriage is not always beautiful, however the strength to handle issues is.

Glad you loved the setting! This is precisely why we chose early October to marry. I get many compliments on my shawl, so thank you mama. It was much more necessity than fashion. Northern Ontario gets COLD much sooner than Toronto.

I'm surprised that my husband got misty eyed ... oh, I'm just waiting for you to explain that one shot of y'all kissing and he's also grabbing some booty! Laughed so hard at that one, thinking, "typical guy!" Marriage is not always beautiful, however the strength to handle issues is. I'll be frank – there are days you're going to wonder why you ever decided to hitch yourself to him, and then it hits you that your life wouldn't be quite the same if you had gone another direction. And then those troubling things become just a small drop in a vast ocean of mutual love ...

I wanted to have dinner in comfort and my shoes were hidden under the dress. LOL These pictures made me cry when I saw them. The beauty of our setting and the obvious love between my husband and I moved me to tears. After 3 years of struggles, growth and overwhelming passion, we finally married. It is a custom in my parent's culture, for a father to put on a huge, splashy wedding for his daughter, especially since I am the only girl among 3 boys. My husband and I are simple people. We are not show offs who love crowds like my parents are. I also believe that big weddings are for happy families, not textbook dysfunctional clans like mine. I was always told that I was ugly because my skin is dark. When I see the richness of my complexion against the white, I see how wrong that fool was. Eat your wicked heart out, Mother! Bless all of you for your loving words! I know we'll be a wonderful couple. Xoxo
