forgot about her for a little bit

Me and my ex broke up in january. anways i was told that she has a new bf (2nd of the two that she dated after me i think) a while back (about a month ago) i was a little upset but got over that after a week. anyways today my sister told me that she saw her today and that she looked really pretty. After hearing this i felt a little sick inside and kinda sad. she was telling me stuff like you shouldn't have F'd up blah blah blah. I just feel a bit depressed now. I feel like im relapsing back into the depression. Its been over 9 months and im still kinda upset about the break up. just need some advice right now:(

no why, screw what your sister said seriously come on man. Just fight you may feel like you are going back down but this is only a small setback. Don't let yourself fall let this reminding tell you there are still things you need to let go, and allow this to be a healing experience!

It's always hard to hear news on what your ex is up to without you.

If at all possible, ask friends not to talk about her "updates" and avoid checking any type of social networking that would make news on her available.

 

In time, you will slowly smile and WANT to move on without her involved. It doesn't seem feasible now but many of us here on LS have came from the same dark place to come out in the sunshine wonderfully. You will too.

Who cares that she looks good, there's a million nice looking women out there. Why would you still care about someone that doesn't give a rats ass about you?

 

Network, get out, meet some women. I can guarantee you you'll find someone who makes you completely forget about your ex.
