Cell phone is currently safely hidden. Since he's not leaving just yet, I will NEVER give him the phone back.

He signed a "Quit Claim" on the house years ago when I had to get a loan for our daughter's college. I'll have to talk to somebody but I have a feeling he can't cause too much trouble with that.

I just found out I "accidentally" never changed my life insurance beneficiary when I married. When I started the job, I made my parents my beneficiary and never changed it. yeah for me!

I have another larger life insurance that I took out 2 years (after D-Day) and made my daughter the beneficiary - just in case...

He's walking real softly right now. I'm still only speaking when spoken to. I guess this is really on his mind because we bowled our league last night and he bowled like total and complete shyt!!! I went around laughing and talking to everybody and did a good job of pretending everything with me was fine. He just sat there looking like he lost his bestfriend - he did!!!

Planning to go out this weekend with friends. Looking forward to it.

Feelings are the same - extreme anger at WH - acceptance that the marriage did not work out - anxiousness for the future...

Ok, sounds like you are doing great. Make sure he can't hurt you with the credit cards.

About your son going to the bowling tournament - if you want to go, could you, or you and son, ride with someone else?

I'm really glad you're holding up so well.

Any idea what happened between him and his "best friend" at work?

Have fun this weekend! And keep us posted.

Don't give it back. Give it to your divorce lawyer intact with all the messages and call history on it.

That's where I am at as well. Anger towards the cheating EX, acceptance that we are really done this time and all the future plans I had dreamed with her by my side are dead, and a little anxious about the "new normal."

You're not alone star727. ;)

I agree, sounds like you are ontop of things Star.

It appears that this man with lack of financial responsibility has been an anchor to you during the whole marriage .. You have reason to know it's not working out .. Not only the years of infidelity - but the whole thing..

Good for you Star! I wish I had this strength since day 1... took a few years, but I got it!:p

Open enrollment! I did the same. I removed my then H as soon as I was able to. F THAT! Nothing of what I came with was important to him so neither should United Health. Real insteresting when he needed medical care. OH WELL!

I wish you luck and I remember, nothing is sent your way that you are not able to handle.;)
