Funf Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 I understand that everyone has or at least should have a life and aren't constantly checking their messages on online dating sites 24/7. But how much time do you give them before you conclude that they are not interested? This guy is throwing me for a loop. He sent me a message on Friday gushing about how great my profile is and how he likes my pics, and how he was hoping that he would hear from me, etc. I sent him a reply on Saturday. He never logged back on until Monday evening. It's not like he logged onto the site once, he signed on multiple times throughout the evening. But I never received a response. I don't know, I just find it weird. I would think that he would have time to craft a response? I guess it's just weird for me because I usually receive replies within 24 hours of sending a message. I'm not putting all of my eggs in one basket, but should I write this guy off? Or give him time? This guy sounds amazing based on his profile so I wish I would receive a response...
Tim The Enchanter Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 As a personal rule, I see no reason why someone can't email once a day, if they're interested. So I tend to prioritise those who email daily, as opposed to the flakey ones who email every few days. I can tell that you're inexperienced with OLD. Having people flake out on you after a couple of emails is par for the course. It sucks, but what can you do?
