dragonsman Posted October 26, 2010 Posted October 26, 2010 hey i have posted on here previously about my situation, but it continues to go on... cut along story short. 6 weeks ago my ex (of 6 years, me 23 her 21) tells me she needs a break, doesnt know what she wants. this goes on. eventually i decide enough is enough. send her an email telling her i respect her decision, now she needs the courage to set me free, cuz all she is doing is messing with me. she responds saying yes she realises this. but right now she cant force her feelings, right now she doesnt want to be with me, but maybe down the track we will be (i take this as a load of bs). she said she is searching for a new outlook on life. if we r meant to be we will be (the usual cliche crap). anyway. ive had enough. so i deleted her from facebook. the next day i get a friend request from her, and an inbox message saying, y have u defriended me? what am i meant to make of that? y is she on my facebook page to start with?

You did the right thing. You were a little cooler then I would have been. I would have been like. I don't want a break, I want us to continue dating. But if you want a break then I just want us broken up for ever. Goodbye if thats how it must be. Good job not falling for her crap. Look she is really imature and disrespectful to half break up with you like this. She is saying two things to you but bottom line this is a lot of drama and you need to just listen to the part of her that is saying she doesn't want you. the next day i get a friend request from her, and an inbox message saying, y have u defriended me? what am i meant to make of that? y is she on my facebook page to start with? You should have blocked her so she couldn't friend request you with her account. She knows why you defriended her. Because you really want to get over and past her now that she wants a break. Dude she is trying to have her cake and eat it to. A lot of girls think they can break up with a guy and still get all the emotional suport ect. they got while they were in a relationship. For your own sake move on and forget her for now. Obviously she is six years of your life and you can one day look back on it with fondness if you so choose. But if you guys split up things will never be the same and maybe you guys should never be in touch again. Good luck man
