Thanks again to all that have posted. I have read all posts and I realize that I was being rather pathetic in my hopes and attempts to reconcile anything with this girl. She only wanted to be with me because she was lonely and she admitted this and it was merely to keep me in her life on her terms and also the fact that I had someone I was kind of seeing made her jealous. We spent some more time together over the weekend and she spent saturday night at my place again. And once again after she left I felt horrible because I could finally see that there is no chance of an us at least in the immediate future. So Im going complete NC for good this time and any attempts she makes at contacting me will be ignored. I was blind to her intentions because of the sex but not anymore. I don't have trouble meeting other women and will move with my life and hopefully meet someone that can appreciate what I have to offer.

Perfect. You lived the example of breaking NC and now you know that your ex is not as genuine as you had believed. My ex did the same thing and he is now getting married to another next year.

 

Keep at it. Let her know the rule of "fool me once, shame on you-fool me twice shame on me" rings true. Let her be the fool...not you. Games are for kids.

I know if I ignore her she's just going to come and see that Im home anyways. What do I do? This is going to take everything I have to tell her no if I text back. IGNORE IT. it is allllllllllllllll manipulation. im right there with you. thats all it is. i dont know how your relationship went. but in my case after one of our fights, she told me that once her and her ex broke up that she became and emotionless person, and that she didnt care about anyone except her self until i came around. well i ignored every red flag i could see, because i thought "she was different" but 99% of the time, they are not. they are exactly the person you thought they were. and of course she wants to come sleep with you, but if you give in this cycle will go on forever. be strong.
