SlevinKalebra Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 So there's a girl in my class that I was going to ask to go have drinks after lecture. She has dropped a few not so subtle hints she's interested. Here's the problem I'm not attracted to her. I don't want to give her the wrong impression, but she seems like she could be cool to hang out with and I am really lonely. When my kids aren't with me I'll try to find something to do or meet people but that never pans out.
bianca_87 Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Rejection is always the worst feeling for a girl. If you think it'll be really great to be friends with her, you be straight with her from the very beginning. Don't flirt with her, and tell her you are really glad to be hanging out with her as a friend, because a friend to talk to is what you really need right now. If she flirts or continues to show strong signs even after you've been straight with your true intentions, you should consider backing off. Otherwise giving it a go isn't a bad idea if you are looking for new friends.

She's old enough to make her own decisions.
