I was KIND of okay with #1, I typically don't like to do the pen-pal thing at first, but sometimes I might do it, that is if I hadn't lucked out with a woman before her 2 weeks were up. lol But THEN I saw #3....meet in TWO WEEKS after the phone call, cripes....email back and forth for 2 weeks, then MEET 2 weeks after we talk....sheesh! LOL I wonder what made her come up with these "NEW" rules.

In my mind, they either aren't taking internet dating very seriously - it's a free site, after all - or they are just a (probably unwarranted) really high opinion of their own worth in the dating "market", if you excuse the expression.

Even though I tend to move things past the email stage quickly, it still takes 2-3 weeks to get a date. Doesn't sound like a bad thing compared to 9,675 other things that can sink a love connection.

Has she ever met you before ? j/k She sounds like someone who is following a set of rules thinking it will weed out guys looking for sex. Maybe you would be more successful at online dating if you spent less time tearing apart a person's profile and spent more time finding profiles that match you.

What he said . . . . there are lots of kooky profiles out there, ignore the ones that bug you and move along.

She said the meet has to be scheduled WITHIN 2 weeks, i.e., 2 weeks is her DEADLINE. Therefore, you could meet her the very same day as the phone call, or the next day.

Yeah, reading comp has been never one of my good qualities....that and counting cash at a register. thanks for the clarification. Though I wonder why she picked 2 weeks though. Unless maybe lets say we talked on the phone on a monday, but she is mostly available on weekend?
