Sparky Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 THIS IS NOT TO PUT DOWN WOMEN!! THIS IS A SIMPLE QUESTION, SO LADIES, PLEASE DON'T BE OFFENDED!!! This kind of popped in my mind the other day: Since guys like porn because of the sexy women that get naked and get it on, why wouldn't girls be attracted in a similar way? The sexy men also get naked and get it on, so why wouldn't the girls like that? In fact, maybe they can learn from it if it's a man and a woman having sex, just like guys do. I know that most porn out there that have to do with only girls are targeted for straight men, but there are porno movies that have non-homosexual content. So why wouldn't most women be interested in that?
Author Sparky Posted March 3, 2004 Author Posted March 3, 2004 Yeah! I know some girls that a WAY more sexually active and interested than most men!
HiDDeN PiGLeT Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 i watch porn. its not such a big deal. guys tend to be more turned on and easily turned on by porn and such matters. also i really dont feel that most of the people in porn, both male and female, are that attractive at all. it seems that most of them started out in porn b/c of low self esteem so in order for them to feel better about themselves the become porn for the attention.

jenny Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 i like bawdy B movies that refuse to take themselves seriously. flesh gordon is probably the best example i can think of in this category - totally arousing but non-threatening. it's like having sex at a particularly campy camp; it's sex in underoos.
dolphinsunshyn Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 Most of the women I know like porn. But, to answer your question....guys , in general, are very visual. They get excited by sight. Girls, in general, are more emotional. They get turned on by feeling. A lot of girls (especially if they are young) take a while to reach that level of sexual maturity where they can appreciate a good porno flick. When they get into their late twenties and closer to their sexual peak they usually become more sexually liberated and open-minded to such. As far as getting turned on by the guys in the films...I don't know of many great-looking male porn stars. They always show close-ups of the hairy asses and nut sack and them making stupid faces while they are pumping away. It's really not that attactive in my opinion. Now, the women in the films are a different story. Most are attractive. Give me a good lesbo scene anyday! LOL As far as them being "educational"....yes, you can pick up some good tips. But who really pays attention that close and takes notes? Just enjoy.....
Dug Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 I think dolphinsunshyn has this one nailed down..... my girlfriend only lasts for about 5 mins into a porn movie before she wants to make her own feature film with me. Men are very very visually stimulated, hence magazines like Penthouse, Playboy and even most other porn media. Men have always dominated the industry. I feel fairly confident in saying that most men are too mechanical and most women are into doing rather than watching........well ladies ??
wideawake Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 Instead of these rampant generalizations ("most men are too mechanical and most women are into doing rather than watching", "Since guys like porn because of the sexy women that get naked and get it on", etc....) How about we just say that some people will enjoy porn at some times. Basically what I'm getting at is that even the most prudent conservative woman may at some point in her life take some pleasure in porn. And likewise the kinkiest, horniest porn-fiend guy may actually find it offensive at some times. It's never a one way or the other answer for stuff like this. Too much depends on where you are in your life (maturity), past and future experiences, mood, etc... Believe it or not, when I was a kid, I knew some fairly young girls that LOVED to look through Penthouse and stuff like that. It's really going to depend on the individual, not the gender.
Togagirl Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 I think I'm more into porn, than my ex. He would buy them but I was the one always watching them. You get ideas from everywhere
AboutPorn Posted August 16, 2004 Posted August 16, 2004 Many women feel that porn is degrading to women. Many women also feel that porn "sex" is loveless, and simply the mechanics of humping like animals. Most women, though not all, find that idea to be extremely distasteful, OR feel that NOT finding it distasteful would make them bad or wrong. Women are constantly taught how sex is "bad" and "wrong" and "dirty," and then you want them to sit and enjoy watching it done in an extremely loveless fashion? Not very likely. Granted, this is done to keep young girls from becoming "sluts," but unfortunately, these purposefully ingrained inhibitions don't magically poof when she gets married/ finds a boyfriend. As far as myself, I very much enjoy watching porn. My feeling, however, is that there is actually not enough focus on the men (contrary to another woman who posted earlier). I find men to be extremely beautiful. Their hairy butts and balls are, contrary to her feeling on it, quite lovely to me. Penises are beautiful, lovely, such an elegant and graceful shape. I dislike porn that focuses entirely on the woman, because, well... I'm not into women. Which is another issue that sort of ties in with it... the expectations men have of what 'should' turn women on. Myself, for example, I am very tired of hearing how I am somehow "wrong" "bad" or "strange" because I am not attracted sexually to women. The attitude you have that women "should" be attracted by this because, I mean... well, men are. Well, my friend, I am not a man.
guest Posted August 17, 2004 Posted August 17, 2004 I like porn and I get turn on watching it. There are differences on why and how my bf watches porn though. I watch it and enjoy it, but I get turn on and that would be the main reason to watch it. He can watch it forever, does not get bore of it...and may not get turn on at all. For me, I get off, and that is it...I rather watch something else afterwards.
caz_cheer_jenn Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 I think anyone who has read my previous posts knows that I LOVE PORN and I think it has lots of positive aspects to it, other than just being a turn-on. It's a good way to explore different sexual fantasies, it can teach you some useful "tricks," and it it just plain yummy. (Well, most of it is...although I think that Max Hardcore should be dragged out into the street by his balls and be made to suffer the same type of humiliation he inflicts on others, the damn sicko.) Aaaaaanyway, I think that some girls are uptight about admitting that they enjoy porn because it can sometimes lead guys to think that they are some sort of nymphomaniac...when in reality, watching porn is a very healthy way of exploring one's sexuality. It's even more fun when you watch with a partner! So I say again....I LOVE PORN! It has taught me many things.... oh, and p.s... Women are constantly taught how sex is "bad" and "wrong" and "dirty," I was NEVER taught that sex was bad, wrong, or dirty...please try not to apply such broad, sweeping statements to the entire female population.
honey2005 Posted August 18, 2004 Posted August 18, 2004 I was NEVER taught that sex was bad, wrong, or dirty...please try not to apply such broad, sweeping statements to the entire female population. Me either. I was taught that sex was something that should only be shared between two people in love, but never that is was "bad" "wrong" or "dirty". In my country, the USA, women who enjoy sex are "whores" or "sluts." Men who enjoy sex are "Man whores" and the association of being a "man whore" is not only not negative, it's grossly "admirable" for a man to be one. While for a woman to be called a whore or a slut is a grave insult. This is social, not something I made up or pretended. And it's not an isolated thing.

BETTER YET, WHAT PLANET IS IT ON?!! Definitions: slut - (noun) a dirty untidy woman; a woman adulterer whore - (noun) a woman who engages in sexual intercourse for money - (verb) corrupt by lewd intercourse, have unlawful sex with a whore I took these straight from the dictionary. I guess that makes everyone a whore/slut, right? I was NEVER taught that sex was bad, wrong, or dirty...please try not to apply such broad, sweeping statements to the entire female population. I couldn't agree more. Sex is very healthy. As a matter of fact, sex and masturbastion are both equivalent to an average workout (just for people who don't know ) I like porn. It turns me on and you also learn things too. I don't see how it's degrading to women, but I do see how it's degrading to the meaning of sex in a lot of religions. Other than that, I don't believe anything's wrong with it.

In your country, the USA, there are almost three hundred million people. There is no single point of view and certainly the one you speak of, while it exists in some circles, is not universal.
zara Posted August 20, 2004 Posted August 20, 2004 okay - there seems to be an underlying assumption by many people that if a woman doesn't like straight porn that makes her sexually unadventurous, frigid, inhibited, insecure etc. Terrible assumption. Some women just don't like to watch other people have sex! I am grreat in bed - if reviews and call backs are to be believed - sexually adventurous, supremely confident, i just don't happen to enjoy seeing any woman other than myself having sex. Gay porn is where it's at! Hot men, unlike hetro porn, and no women to get in the way
