cute-babes Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 hey i neded help my best friend was dateing this 17year old guy and you know how it is when you your best mate and her b/f hang out all together,me and my best mate are 14, well i really started to like like her boyfriend you know,but she didnt know this or him, but its over now between them cos she cheated on him 3 times just kissed and did a llil more but not sex with, other guys you know,but they never really seen one another and never talked much atall and they were finding it hard you know, anyway he found out about her cheating and then thats when i told her that i liked him 1nce it was over, and i told him to but my best mate doesnt know that i told him,cos now me and him are seeing each other and we seem to really hit it off and have such a laugh and we feel comfortable to together just doesnt feel odd for some reason seeing as it is my best mates ex,and me and him really care for one another aswell and its going great at the moment, i just cant help thinking if this is mean on her u know its just im stuck between my best mate and boyfriend, i have to tell her soon and i really dont want to fall out with her,but then again i dont want toruin something that can be a great long-term relationship you know, please help xxjenxx
colm Posted March 3, 2004 Posted March 3, 2004 too cute. i remember being 14 and i'm not patronizing you. the fact of the matter is this. chances are you and the guy won't get married. could happen, but not likely. as a result, keep that in mind as you enjoy growing up. as for the friend, well, this would be a true test to see how strong your friendships are. you're not doing anything wrong but it would definately be best, and most considerate, for your friend to hear it from you before hearing it from someone else. she may not like it and you should be prepared for that. if you and her stop talking as a result...then you and the boy split...there's a chance you won't have either. that's a risk and jen, relationships are all about risk. NOTHING IS EVER A SURE THING IN RELATIONSHIPS. you have youth, enjoy it. i did and i'm a happy person for it.
