Met this girl at metro. We talked like 5 minutes and then I took her facebook. On facebook, I ask her to meet me on Thursday for a walk at the lakeside but she says not on Thursday, what about this weekend?. I ask for her number and she gives it to me. Then I call her and she does not answer. 2 days later, I send a text like "Hey, I know you are too shy to reply to my calls but I have time for you this weekend and you should call me back if you are really missing me. ;)" She replies "I am so sorry, I feel very sick. We can do it next weekend if you want? :)".

It has been a week and I am planning to text her to ask how she has been but I am not sure if she is blowing me off or not. She always suggests another date and even gives me her number. What are the chances that she will keep delaying this?

Did you leave a voicemail or message? If not, then why do you expect that she'd call you back if you didn't ask her to do so?

This text is a huge FAIL...

This is why texting for first dates is so lame. You should have called once, left a voicemail if she missed your call, and then that'd be the end of it. If she never gets back to you, then LAUNCH.

CALL her. Stop texting.

Sounds like a similar question that I just posted. Obviously if I was an expert I wouldn't be asking questions on here but what I would do is go ahead and give it one more shot. What do you have to lose? Maybe she really was sick! Worst case is she just doesn't like you or she's interested in someone else. How's that for being captain obvious? lol

This is a fail of epic proportion:- never say that you have time for a girl, act as if you are busy even if you aren't

-The part about missing me is awful, no wonder why she canceled on you.Its far too early to say this kind of stuff even in a flirty way.

Haha, it was just a flirty text and it didn't imply anything serious. It's teasing, putting her into a position that gives the impression that she is the one missing you and thinking about you all the time. And how will I meet her if I act busy all the time? I need to spend some of my busy time for her right?

Nevermind, I gave it one last shot and texted her asking if she did get better and she sent me an empty text. I think this is the end of the story.

Thanks for the replies!
