jamiedd Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 So me and my girl broke up back in august.. she started dating someone new, but would still call me. Saying she didnt want to lose me and all that, but i told her i'm just not interested in being friends, about a month goes by and we were talking through out but we finally decide to start seeing eachother again.. things are good we actually plan a vacation to visit my family in my home state.. but litttle do i know she has not stopped talking to the new guy.. i find out about 2 days before the trip and im pissed so i dont even wanna talk to her i just go without her.. about an hour before i head to the airport.. she calls with some stupid excuse to why she is calling nothing sincere.. So i just say take it easy and hang up.. she calls again i dont answer.. i get to the airport she texts have a good flight.. i land and get off the plane and i get a text saying check your email. so i get to my moms and check my email.. its this long dragged out apology saying how great a guy i am and how sorry she is but ultimately saying to just let her go... so i dont even respond im like cool whatever im back home ill hang out with old friends and have a great time.. 2 days pass and the texting starts.. NON-STOP just stupid little texts trying to start a conversation so i dont answer any of them.. then she finally texts "i'm so confused i'm lost without you, i keep saying your name" so i finally answer because this is the first real text she has sent, And MY text leads to a phone conversation that last for hours... Her pretty much telling me she is love with me and she never thought how it be to lose me because i was always there giving her so much attention.. she took me for granted. the other guy means nothing to her and im the one she wants. this is all so confusing to me, because she hurt me when she dumped me, But im so in love with this girl. I dont know what to do, I dont want my love to set me up for another heartbreak..... Any advice???????

It's hard for me to say that you should just cut her loose because if my ex were to come back I can't say that I wouldn't take her back. But that being said, your ex sounds like she wants to have her cake and eat it too. Can you really trust her not to keep talking to that other guy? she can say what she wants, but at the end of the day actions speak louder than words.
DustySaltus Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 If you really think she's serious and want her back ask her to call the other guy with you on the phone and let her tell him that she can't see him anymore. If she won't do that, it's not genuine...she's being selfish.

Hhhh Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Communication is key if you guys sorted out your problems and she can cut this other guy out of her life I don't see why not Some people actually do need time and all we can do is hope they see light while we undergo the healing process
