bloom4me Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 I've been thinking a lot these days about how korean or japanese men see latin girls.. I'm latin myself, so whenever I see asian girls, I find them really pretty and attractive..i can understand why so many men are attracted to them, but when i start to think of how they see us, i get caught up in the stereotypes we all know about..so i start thinking that they will find me fat (because I am not as skinny as korean and japanese girls are, and even if I was realllyyyyy skinny i could never be so small as they are)..also i think of skin color, and the fact that we may be a little more outgoing when it comes to talking..(just to mention some examples) all this things get me down, cause I really do like asian men.. my friends don't really understand me, so I can't ask them or comment my thoughts to them..I think they (asian men) will find me ugly, cause my hips are wider than the women they usually see and physical details as such.. I have a lot of boy friends, so we talk a lot about girls, and dating, and what they like o dislike in girls, but i would really like to know this things from a different cultural point of view..

Frankly, whilst I am very, very partial to latin/hispanic women, it all boils down to how attractive I find you, not your ethnicity. If someone was to say to me "Spanish or Swedish", I would say "Spanish" every time. But then if I met a Swedish girl who I was incredibly attracted to, it wouldn't matter where she was from. Just the same as I define my "type" as having dark hair, I have sometimes seen a blonde and thought that she was gorgeous.

I'll be in NYC in a few weeks... Anyhow, I'm Asian myself, not Korean or Japanese and I'm dating a Latina. I personally love Latina's but that's not to say I don't like Asian women. I date women, it doesn't matter what their ethnicity is. So stop worrying about it and grab yourself an Asian man. Once you go asian...(fill the rest in)

Because they matured faster physically than their gringa counterparts, and to a hormone-laden 12 year-old, that was really, really sexy my guess is that it has less to do with race (or even looks to a certain degree) and more to do with how appealing someone's personality is.

You'd best believe that their kids are hot (most become models and travel all over Asia for gigs). I read somewhere that there are far more males than females in Japan. And that Japanese females prefer to leave their towns and live in cities and delay marriage. So it's highly possible for you to date and end up with a Japanese guy. Korean men? No. They rarely marry outside of their race and when they do the poor female will be ostracized forever, not invited to family parties, not acknowledged by in laws. This happened to my friend. Koreans love their homogenous country. I've been in South Korea. They can be incredibly racist. Don't worry about your curves. In fact it's an advantage. Good luck!
Author bloom4me Posted October 21, 2010 Author Posted October 21, 2010 I want to thank you for taking the time to answer my question..I know very well that we fall in love not with the outside of a person, but sometimes people tend to be very conservative, and will not color outside the lines..and since I have never been conservative I feel that I will only get rejected..the only thing now, is to find asian men where I live, since the few asian people I have seen are older men and females, not one boy around my age..so I'l just have to wait a few more years and then move to asia.. the part with the in laws accepting me and stuff like that, is a little scary..but people are not gold coins, not everyone can like you.. I wish I had a pen pal, i really like learning about other countries lifestyle and culture..but books and internet searching can only take you so far... p.d: still thinking of were the heck am i going to get an asian boy from.....i wouldn't want to order one (like you do with pizza, or foreign wifes)..i would like to walk in streets full of them..with all shapes and sizes..

Oh... The hottest Latina (Columbian) in my company just married a Korean guy. They seem super happy... and based on just PDA I'd say they really love each other.

Since OP is a Latina, I have an issue too. I like Latinas but don't know how they view South Asian males (Indian, Pakistani etc.) Of the several hundred million hispanics in the world, I'm sure that there are women amongst them who will find you attractive. She wants to know how Asian men view Latin women. Are you Asian? Anyway, OP I am not a man but I am Asian and I DO have an Asian brother. His impression of Latin women are that they have a progressive attitude about sex and they are a lot of fun but probably not as loyal to their man as he believes Asian women are in general. Mind you, this is JUST his impression, and not based on facts.
