To all dumpers:

If you dumped someone, do not try and get him back a year later. You did the dumping, you moved on immediately, and then again, and then again.

Your ex has moved on and is happy with his life. Leave him alone.

Who do you think you are? Did you realize the grass is not greener on the otherside? Do you think there is no one better than you? Are you surprised your ex can be happy without you?

(Thanks for letting me vent.) I am also trying to understand the dumpers mindset.

Thanks Primer. Just as good as it gets. Succinct, passionate, direct and therapeutic. I hear you, man. You have my vote of support.:)

I hope you told the DUMPER what you are telling us or did you really give in to the contact only to find out they didn't really want you back and that has opened up old wounds.

How are you doing?

It was my boyfriend's dumper. Over one year after letting him go, and at least three serious boyfriends later, she decided my boyfriend wasn't that bad and wanted him back. (I think she was looking for someone to financially support her.)

Boyfriend told her that he moved on with his life and she needed to do that too. He was glad to be rid of her and her children from a previous marriage.

It just irritates me that she had the nerve to try and talk to him. Does she think she is that special?

Primer,

You are in a real predicament then…this is the infamous three-way love triangle even if there are no feelings with your existing boyfriend and his EX, you are being dragged into it old affairs.

My only word of advice is to be supportive to your existing boyfriend and NEVER, NEVER, NEVER criticize the way he is handling the situation or say anything repeatedly negative about her to him. What you don't want to do is alienate him in any way…do you agree with that statement?

If he loves you and is loyal to you he will rid the situation of her and get back to you. I sense he is not handling the situation to your satisfaction, hence the posting(s) here…if you need to vent or tell us more please feel free.

Oh! So someone is insecure about the BF's Ex! LOL. Sounds like he took care of business .... and you are a little insecure. Woman up.

I don't think I am insecure.

She has nothing - no job, three children, and a ton of debt. Her parents are supporting her and her children. BF now realizes she was a moocher.

I am employed full-time, own a home, and no debt.

She must think she is a princess or something - and that bugs me!

Well if you were secure about her and yourself, you wouldn't bother to bring up the subject. It seems to me that Exes only bother currents when they're threatened by them.
