Yep, we Cancers are called so because we hold on for dear life... especially our past - past lovers, past sense of security, everything. That's what makes us so emotionally fragile, yet deep. It's interesting that you brought up horoscopes because I used it to somewhat get closure after I got dumped. I browsed multiple horoscope sites looking at her sign, mine, and the guy she left me for. And it was interesting to find that we were very compatible but in different stages in life. She's a pisces and the OM is a libra. Supposedly they are also compatible, but only if the libra is balanced in life, though he's not. Pisces tend to stay in doomed relationships longer than they should, so if their relationship starts to sour most likely the libra will break it off. Libras are also very manipulative. I'm not trying to be negative, but I found comfort knowing that our relationship was meaningful, but she was shelfish in the way she ended it. And if he does dump her in the future, I would love to see her reaction when she finally realizes that this fantasy that she made up to validate her new relationship was just that a fantasy. Anyways, maybe you can also post your EXs sign. Maybe you weren't compatible to begin with, the stars weren't aligned, or it just wasn't meant to be.
