bleeg Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 My gf broke up with me on July 5th because she was feeling unhappy. She basically felt that all we were doing was things I wanted to do and never things she wanted to do. I admit I got comfortable and stayed in a routine for a few months. I turned selfish. I stopped appreciating her. It was tough for me. I admit what I did was wrong. For the first week or 2, I demanded answers thinking it was something else. My ego took a bit hit. I cut her off. She's been contacting me a lot lately. She even asked me out for a coffee which I went to and kept the convo light and took off after an hour. My question to anybody who has been in the same situation is, is there a chance to win her back? She's very stubborn and thinks people can't change. In the meantime, I think i'm going to take time to myself and try and better myself because I feel i've become to the same way with family and friends as well. Any advice is appreciated.
SithLord Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Usually I would take the sith route. Treat her like a friend, s person u dont want. Best way to win her back is when u don't want her back...dont mention the relationship, anything from the past...Be cool...Focus on yourself and urself only. Don't concern urself if she stils has feelings for u. It doesnt matter at the end.
Author bleeg Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 So basically I move on with my life. I treat her as a friend. I see other girls. Then what? I won't lie, I want her back. I want to show her I can change for the better, not for her, but for myself as well.
Author bleeg Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 I went out with her last week. Kept the convo light, we joked around, we made cracks, we shot the ****, after about 45 mins-an hour, I said I have to go. She texted me a bit after and the next day but since then, no contact.
