irc333 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I have a couple of female friends here and there...and she talked about how she went out with some friends for some dancing, even had some FB pics of it. I saw those pics, and suggested me, her and a few other of her friends go out dancing whenever we got a chance. And she says, "Okay, but please don't hit on my friends, deal?" I agreed....but heck what if they hit on ME? Anyways, do you find that to be a strange request? Isnt that like trying to tell a fish not to swim?

You have in effect invited yourself along for a girl's night out. I do not find the request to not hit on her friends odd in this sitch.

Cee Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I'd let the comment slide even though it was rude. Dance parties are teeming with beautiful women and opportunities to dance with different people. I don't consider clubs an appropriate place to meet dates, but it's a whole lot of fun.
Author irc333 Posted October 18, 2010 Author Posted October 18, 2010 Well, actually, I'd be going WITH people I knew, and hitting on their friends from the same carpool. LOL (If I even did decide to hit on them that is) Better to hit on them, than strangers at the actual club, right? I'd let the comment slide even though it was rude. This is your first time out with the group. You know your friend, but these women are total strangers. It's probably best to be likable and keep a respectful distance. If you don't have experience with clubs, you'll be shocked by the amount of disrespectful and clumsy behavior out there. Look around at the guys and you'll see it. And don't be that guy. Have fun. I'll be curious how your night goes. I'm a regular on the club circuit, but not for the men, but for the music.
