Minjas Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I met a girl about 5 weeks ago. She still had a boyfriend then. First weekend she invites me to an event she helped organize, I actually brought a date with me to that, so I hung out with my date and not as much with her. Second weekend she says she needed someone to go to a concert with her. I went with her, and end of the night I asked her where her boyfriend is. She said they've been fighting. Later that night, she texted me some extended messages, telling me all the details of her relationship complications. I responded to make her feel better as much as I could. From there, we hung out together each weekend since, and hasn't discussed her relationship issues, but it seems like she's single now. She text me everyday asking me how my day was, and also invited me over to her place to watch movies, made me food, etc.. Today she brought up the subject to me about possibly traveling together at end of the year to go see an international artist perform. I haven't tried to make any moves, and just been treating her like a friend, knowing that she's coming off of a long term relationship. I even talk to her about the dates I go on, and she is definitely curious on how those dates went, and if I'm going to call those girls again. What do you guys think about her behavior? I've had some pretty close friends that are girls, but none behaved like this. She pretty much fits the mold of a perfect relationship type of girl for me. Should I make a move? Or is she just looking for a boyfriend replacement since her breakup?
Titania22 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Should I make a move? Or is she just looking for a boyfriend replacement since her breakup? I don't think you can know for sure. If you are enjoying this, I suggest not making a move, and wait and see how she responds. If the friendship thing becomes a problem for you, and you don't mind losing her attention altogether. Then you should make a move, because then you will quickly know where she's at. With me, I have recently realised that it takes 2 months to fall in love. i.e. Several times in my life, I have been just friends with a guys, and then one day for no discernable reason, it's like cupid shoots me with the arrow. Then Bam! I am In Love. Hope this helps!
