Someone told me I seemed like a really happy person today

It was the best compliment I have ever gotten, because of the long and hard road it took to get here.

 

Some of you might remember me from a few years ago, when I was a total trainwreck, driving myself to the strip club every night with a forty perched between my legs, estranged from my family, disconnected from all of my friends, making posts on Loveshack about my ex and how god damn much it hurt and how I didn't think I could ever find joy after everything that had happened.

 

3 years later, I am so happy, that others think of this as one of my defining characteristics. :bunny: All it took was a little faith, a little self-respect, and a lot of advice from you guys. I'm still single, I still have problems, but no one can fcvk with the way I feel. I try to be true to my values these days, and it makes all the difference in the world.
