wander1991 Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Hey, so this week I finally grew some nuts and talked to this girl in my university club. The first time I talked to her during the club an event was going on while I introduced myself so i didn't really get to know much about her. Today on this club trip, which was long, I was hoping to talk to her if I saw her, and I did see her and just said to her "what's up" then she just gave me a response and asked what my name was again. Two to three hours later I bump into her again with a friend playing a game and I decided I will talk to her. Everything seemed bad in my mind, like I couldn't do it, however I did but the problem is when i talk to this girl its like I'm just asking questions and getting a 1-2 word answer. I mean I kind of blame myself for being lame and all around girls i find attractive but this one seems like she isn't being mean, but is very distant. Even her friend said that she was quiet and doesn't talk too much when the met but now they are like best friends. So the questions are: Is there anyway I can't break her out of her shell so she is more open to me? and is there a way that I can not be intimidated by her(heck I can't even crack a smile when I talk to her)? We only do events like once every 2 weeks, so it is tough to get to know this person besides then or through her friend i just met earlier today(which i'm hoping she will help).
somedude81 Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Some ideas for conversation "Hey, how was your weekend," "What did you do, (normally do)." What do you think of the club? You want to ask her open ended questions to get her talking. As for not being intimidated by her, don't focus on how she looks and just try to enjoy the conversation.
Author wander1991 Posted October 17, 2010 Author Posted October 17, 2010 Thanks, I'll try of thinking of other stuff to say as well.
