We had spent the entire evening talking and dancing so it wasn't unexpected when it happened. I thought he was cute, but knew nothing romantic could come of it. So I worked at becoming his platonic friend and supported him on some music projects. Fast forward six weeks. He sent a thank you email and called me a "true friend." I thought that was really nice and am glad the kiss didn't create awkwardness in our budding friendship. I consider this a very good thing and am so glad we are becoming friends. He's a good guy and fun to be around.
